Questions about paying
Is anything charged per text?
No. Uplink costs the price above. The answers run on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan.
Who handles the payment?
Stripe. You pay on Stripe's own checkout page, so your card never reaches Uplink or this site.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Uplink's menubar has Manage Subscription, which opens Stripe's billing page: cancel there and you keep what you paid for until the period ends.
I lost my license key. What now?
Ask for it again at uplink.stacksjs.com/license, linked at the bottom of every page. It goes to the email you bought with. A Mac already running Uplink keeps its key in the Keychain and does not need it again.
Which one should I pick?
Monthly to try it on one trip. Yearly if you text your Mac through the year. Lifetime if you would rather pay once and be done.
What else do I need?
A Mac on macOS 13 or later, an iPhone with iMessage, and Claude Code or Codex signed in on the Mac. Uplink walks you through the rest.
