Buying Uplink

Monthly is $1.99 a month, Yearly is $19.99 a year, Lifetime is $29.99 once. Every plan is the whole app with every update while it lasts. Prices are in US dollars.

A license is for you. Use it on your own Macs; do not share or resell the key.

Renewing and cancelling

Monthly and Yearly renew automatically at the price you signed up for until you cancel. Cancel any time with Manage Subscription in Uplink's menubar, which opens Stripe's billing page. You keep Uplink until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.

A code for 6 free months of Monthly asks for no card. To keep going after them, add a card with Manage Subscription before they end. Without one the plan lapses once Stripe has tried to charge it, and Uplink stops answering texts.

Lifetime is paid once and never renews.

Refunds

If Uplink does not work for you, write to uplink@stacksjs.com within 14 days of paying and we will refund you in full. Refunding ends the license.

What Uplink does, and what it does not

Uplink passes the texts you allow to Claude Code or Codex on your Mac and texts back the answer. Those tools act with your permissions, inside the repositories you name, and can change files and run commands there. Choose carefully who may text your Mac, and review what they change, as you would for any assistant with your access.

The answers come from Anthropic or OpenAI under your own plan and their terms, and they can be wrong. Uplink needs your Mac awake, online and signed in to Messages, and it depends on iMessage, satellite messaging and those AI services, none of which we control.

Liability

Uplink is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what the AI tools do on your Mac at your request, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Uplink in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

If we change these terms, the new ones apply from the date above. A change to what a renewing plan costs applies only from your next renewal, and we will email you before it does.
